Company history
| 1993 | Establishment of the company Kratochvíl parket profi, s. r. o. Since its beginning it has specialized in import and distribution of parquet floors. Since its very start there has been an assortment of several different producers of wooden and laminated floors in the offer. |
| 1994 | The company got an exclusive representation of the prominent worldwide producer of wooden parquets, the Swedish company Kährs. |
| 1995 | The company got an exclusive representation of the German company Witex. |
| 1996 | In February a branch office was founded in Bratislava. Subsequently a construction of own distribution wholesale premises was started at the higway intersection in the direction from Prague to Vienna. |
| 1997 | In the spring the whole premises were inaugurated and one of the most modern centres of parquet sales in CZ was established. In the autumn a branch office with a warehouse in Prague was opened, increasing the comfort for our partners not only in Prague but in the whole Bohemia. |
| 2000 | In the spring a new Floor centre was opened in Prague. |
| 2001 | A branch office and representation of the company Kährs was established in Budapest. |
| 2003 | We opened an exclusive showroom of floors in Bratislava. |
| 2004 | Opening of an exclusive showroom in Praque on Českomoravská Street. We extended our product offer with brand products PVC. We became an importer of products Marmoleum Click from the company Forbo, further housing PVC from the company Tarkett, a design PVC from the company Objectflor and sport PVC from the company Grabo. |
| 2005 | An extensive reconstruction of the sample room and other premises was accomplished in the company headquarters in Moravany u Brna, Bohunická cesta 1/328. Our goods are distributed from the warehouses in Prague, Brno, Bratislava, and Budapest to the network of flooring companies. One of our strong acquisitions is a participation in object orders of housing and also commercial character. We belong to the most important importers and distributors of parquets in CZ. By our assortment and integrated programme we provide our customers with complex services in the field of parquets and floor installation. |
| 2006 | The administartion premises of the company headquarters have been reconstructed. We took part in the construction trade fair in Brno. |
| 2007 | The cooperation with Italian, Dutch, and Finnish suppliers of floor coverings was set. The construction of a new sample room at the KPP headquarters was started. |
| 2008 | KPP SK participated in an international construction trade fair in Bratislava. Together with the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the KPP’s operation on the market a new showroom was inaugurated in the company headquarters in Moravany u Brna on September 30th. A big success of this showroom is the Award of the magazine DOMO for the Sales centre of the year 2008. |
